The Agreement includes the Townsville 400, Gold Coast 600 and the Sydney 500 V8 Supercar Events, which iEDM have been delivering on behalf of V8 Supercars since 2009. iEDM Chairman John Howe says the agreement reflects the strong relationship between the two companies.
“V8 Supercars are an extension of our iEDM family. On behalf of all of the Directors and staff at iEDM, we would like to thank V8 Supercars and in particular the Events team for their continued support of our organisation and our growth over the past 5 years. Securing the EPM role with V8 Supercars for their major street circuits caps off an extremely successful year for iEDM. Our reputation for delivery of overlay for major temporary events has led to many opportunities for our group.”
Mr Howe says,
“Our proven ability to deliver world class event infrastructure in complex public environments secured iEDM the contracts for the Engineering Project Managers role for the 2014 – 2016 Clipsal 500 Adelaide and the Overlay Project Managers for the 2014 Pan Pacific Championships, the first test event for the 2018 Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast.”
“Some time ago we set ourselves some strong goals of where we wanted to be at the end of 2013. As Christmas approaches and we start to reflect on those goals, I am very proud of our team and the way they have systematically achieved each of them along the way.”
In addition to the pure event roles, iEDM also have a range of consulting, planning and design roles for various temporary and permanent entertainment precincts currently underway or in initial design phase.
