Track Barriers & Debris Fence panels –approximately 2,000 of each
7 x overpass pedestrian bridges
Fencing – over 15km
Over 10,000 sqm of temporary structure
Following a covid-induced hiatus, the event is reinventing itself and will be delivered by South Australian Motor Sport (SAMS), a Government entity.
Director of Major Projects, Tom Prest said:
“Our SA team are really excited to be supporting the Government to deliver this event in 2022 and beyond. We have really enjoyed the relationship we have built with the SAMS team in the short time we have been working on the project and look forward to the next few months, getting on the ground and seeing this event come back in a big way for Adelaide – its great for the City and for the industry in South Australia.”
Adding the VALO Adelaide 500 back into our annual calendar of major events means our team is now delivering around $80M of overlay infrastructure each year.
Further to the event overlay infrastructure, iEDM are also providing design and project management for a series of capital upgrades to the venue including major asset renewal, resurfacing of the entire circuit, paddock upgrades, pathway and civil upgrades to the parklands.
